Best record store in the valley. Awesome selection!! Great variety. Derek and staff are always friendly and fun. I always end up spending at least an extra half hour chatting about some release or a show or music history.

The store is clean and organized with a fun selection of new and used records. Their approach is less on the mainstream and more on the niche and interesting music that gets left out of the chain stores. The gentleman working when I visited really knows his music throughout the decades, as I heard him chatting with different customers.

I’ve been dealing with Derek and Modern Sounds for years and this shop is probably the thing I miss most about living in Boise. Glad they are dealing online now!

I found this to be a very cool store. Great selection of vinyl, and the owner is very chill. If he doesn't have something he will be more than happy to order it for you. I spend at least an hour in here every time i go. Only place in town i go to for music any more.

Pretty great to have a vinyl shop in Twin Falls. I only poked around for a few minutes and found several records I'd love to pick up.
